Is our content used to train AI models?
No. We do not train AI models on your content, and the AI providers we use in the EU do not use it for training either. Your content is used only to answer your requests.
How is Datenmassiv AI different from ChatGPT Business?
Datenmassiv AI processes AI requests in EU regions by default, offers models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI under one login, and comes with knowledge bases, agents, workflows, transcription and website chatbots alongside chat. You sign the data processing agreement with DATENMASSIV GmbH in Ulm, Germany. If your team only needs a chat and OpenAI as the sole provider works for you, ChatGPT Business may be enough.
Where is our data processed?
The database, file storage and email delivery run in data centers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. AI models run exclusively in EU regions by default; DATENMASSIV GmbH enables models outside the EU only at your organization's request. Annex 2 of the DPA lists every subprocessor and its location, publicly at datenmassiv.ai/legal/avv.
How much does Datenmassiv AI cost?
Starter costs €24 and Professional €39 per user per month, excluding VAT; pay yearly and you get two months free. Chat, knowledge bases, document chat, agents, workflows and transcription are included in every plan, and the plans differ only in the quota your team shares. Website chatbots are available on top, from €49 per month.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. One data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR covers the whole platform, and you sign it directly in your organization's settings. Data is stored encrypted with AES-256, roles control access, and changes to permissions are logged.
Does Datenmassiv AI work with Microsoft 365?
Yes. With a Microsoft work account, chat and agents read Word and PDF documents from the OneDrive and SharePoint locations your administrator approves, plus your own Outlook mail and calendar, read-only.
Who is behind Datenmassiv AI?
DATENMASSIV GmbH, based in Ulm, Germany, and founded in 2013. The consultancy helps businesses and public administrations adopt AI, and it builds and operates Datenmassiv AI itself, so advice and platform come from one team.
Is Datenmassiv AI suitable for municipalities and public agencies?
Yes, public administrations are an explicit part of our audience. Models outside the EU are off by default, web search can be turned off per organization, and roles control who sees which knowledge base.
Do we need in-house AI experts?
No. Datenmassiv AI is built for organizations without an AI department of their own. We set up your organization and support the start, and people sign in without a password, using a link sent by email.
